For those of you who could not make the 2008 Second Quarterly Membership Meeting in Santa Barbara, you missed a good time, a great speaker, and lots of useful information.

I'm working on the the overview of the meeting which should be posted in the next day. In the meantime, here is a virtual tour of the meeting.

Meetings like this make it clear that being a member of the Southern California Chapter of CRS has many benefits.

Here is the schedule (UPDATED AS OF NOVEMBER 5, 2007) for the General Membership Meetings for SoCalCRS for 2007. Remember - attending meetings out of your area is a GREAT way to network and possibly get/give referrals, AND to learn from some talented speakers who can help you grow YOUR business. Information will follow about the 2008 meeting schedule after the Board Meeting in late November.

November 30 (Friday) Los Angeles - Ayres Hotel at 14400 Hindry Avenue (Hawthorne).

This is the installation meeting for the Board of Directors for 2008. We will have a quest speaker, a general business meeting and lunch, plus the exciting Have a Heart Check Presentation to Habitat for Humanity.

I encourage CRS members to try to attend these meetings - they provide an opportunity for referrals inbound and outbound, but also are a great educational experience, and a way to get to know some other great folks in the 2006 CRS Chapter of the Year!

If you have friends or colleagues who are interested in getting their CRS designation, BRING THEM ALONG! This is a terrific way to introduce them to our chapter, and for them to learn more about what we have to offer them professionally.
