The CRS 210 Class was a great success, judging by the enthusiasm of both the instructors and the class participants.
39 folks attended the class on May 24th and 25th; of that, 7 came from out of state, from as far away as Oregon, Hawaii and Rhode Island. Several attendees already have their CRS designation and were there for more training…great testimony to the outstanding education that CRS provides. And about 6 were taking this class as their last in the road to obtaining the CRS.
Mark Given (Roanoke Rapids, NC) and Frank Serio (Ocean City, MD) were the team instructors from the East Coast and both were outstanding. Class was lively, informative, entertaining, full of great questions and information, and interactive.
Our sponsor for breakfast on both days was American Home Shield (Alesia Garcia, Marsha Newman, and Donna West Grins).
Countrywide Home Loans (Eleanor Colarusso, Keith Sims and Craig Jerkins), and New Century Title and Escrow (Kylene Stemmons, Rhonda Bernardini, Alix Kammeyer) were the sponsors for lunch on Thursday and Friday respectively.
Thanks also to Diane Rath (SoCalCRS Past President - photo at right), who did a great job of making sure the event ran smoothly, questions were answered, and folks got to hear all about CRS and our Southern California Chapter.

In case you are not aware, SoCalCRS will be co-sponsoring the CRS 210 class on Building an Exceptional Customer Service Referral Business, to be held at SDAR (San Diego Association of REALTORS) on May 24th and 25th. It's not too late to register for this class, although you have missed the early-bird rate.
As part of our sponsorship I have arranged for several vendors to help with this event. They will provide breakfast and lunch on both days for class attendees. This saves them time (and money) plus they have an opportunity to hear from area vendors who can provide various real estate services.
I am pleased to announce the following sponsors for this class:
Attendees wll have a chance to learn more about their respective services and to get their questions answered. There will also be marketing materials available from each of the vendors.
Several SoCalCRS members, including yours truly, will be on hand to monitor the class, share information about CRS, answer questions, and provide CRS materials that you can purchase to help take your business to the next level.

At our recent Board of Directors meeting we discussed the course schedule for 2007 for SoCal CRS. A total of 13 classes have been approved by the National CRS organization for Southern California.
In San Diego there will be a Referral Course (CRS #210) held on May 24 - 25 through the San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR). I do not yet know where the course will be held for sure, but will let you know once I find out. I also do not yet have confirmation on the instructor.
