North Georgia Native--Realtor

Jan. 28, 2006 - Horseback riding on USFS land--NOT ANY MORE!

Recently I received a letter from the USFS (US Forest Service) informing me that those of us who are blessed to own horses can no longer ride our horses on their property.  Excuse me, but I thought since I and the other thousands of horse owners in the state of Georgia had this right and have had for hundreds of years that THEY couldn't deny us.  Not so, it seems.  Horses were used to found this country and were a way of life for many, many years and this right shouldn't be revoked by anyone, much less a group of bureaucrats that have never owned or loved one!
