RealTown Help and Support
What is the difference between the e-mails I receive from the community and the web based version?
When you subscribe to receive e-mails from the community, you can choose the frequency that best suits your needs. You can choose to subscribe to the 'Digest' version, where you will usually get one e-mail per day of the most relevant posts made in this particular community. The moderators will choose to leave out certain redundant posts that you will still have access to via the web. Alternatively you can choose to subscribe to the 'Individual' format, where you will receive a separate e-mail for each post to the community as the posts are approved by our moderators. Again, redundant posts may be cut out, but EVERYTHING approved by our moderators will be available to all subscribers via the web. Accessing the communities via the website allows you to read the information in a more organized manner. All posts are threaded together based on their subject line. If one person starts a thread, all comments or replies are listed below the original post. Another bonus is the website will display all posts made by the community. If you make a reply post via the website, your reply will be displayed online immediately.
