Dick,

I have the Blackberry Curve and I love the phone. I don't however like Top Producer for the Blackberry. I am currently using TP 8i. Do you think I can load both Outlook and TP on the phone without having it react slowly from too much information?

May seem obvious to most, but I am a new user of a smartphone and it crashed yesterday. My hardware provider asked me if I had backed up my data on my wireless sync.

Unfortunately, I had not. Very stupid of me. Good news, we were able to re-boot this phone and save my info. But you'd better believe it's backed up now.

Off to the Inman Connect conference on Monday.

Monica,

Lucky you. We all learn the hard way. Ask Dick to tell you about my panic phone calls in the middle of the night.

Now everytime I see an email about a smart phone I do a hotsync. Just finished one a few minutes ago.

Have a wonderful time at Inman.

I will be attending the CyberStar(tm) Summit in Orlando this Sunday.

Dylan,

I guess I will upset some BB and Windows people but here are the facts. BB and Windows has problems with big programs which TP is big. Yes it will be sluggish and after each use you need to shut down programs running to get back to normal speed.

Bigger question is why 2 contact management systems? Sometimes one overloads me let alone having to manage 2!

Dick,
We have had many conversations, many late at night, many while you were driving through the wilderness but I do believe all the calls were about the phones. We had a bunch of calls while preparing your smart phone seminar here at the Baltimore Board of Realtors. That was a very well received and I still hear good things about your presentation. A room full of people with smart phone and no one could stump you!

Aloha Dylan,

I have the BB World and I am running both TP 8i and Outlook. Outlook syncs via a usb line and 8i syncs wirelessly. I don't notice any difference in speed or performance.

Hope this helps a little.

Aloha Dylan,

I am using the World Edition, my daughter gave me to try and I love it. However I do not need the World and I am planning on upgrading to the Curve in September. I have a lot of friends with both the World and Curve and they all rave about them.

Susan
