Ok, here's my question! I do get e-mail to my phone, but attachments are always removed. I can't open html items. I questioned Verizon (my provider) and they said I could download a program for a html reader to my phone and that should work. So, do I do that from my phone or do I download to my laptop and then it sync's that way? I have the Treo 700P. What do you think? Thanks for any input! Judy

Judy,
The Treo 700p comes with "Documents to Go" 8.0. It is on the CD that included your Palm Desktop software. Make sure it's installed on your Treo, if not reload the CD and download the program on your computer. If you open the program on your computer you can install or reinstall on Treo by hotsyncing.
Sometimes the carrier has limitation on email pulled from their server, most POP3 servers will deliver all the email including attachments.
Hope this helps,
Dick

Dick are you saying that Doc's to Go will provide me with html automatically? When i click the d2go icon on the phone, it says my "trial" has expired & to purchase a key, visit www.dataviz.com/buydocstogo
So, it's expired, I never knew how to use it anyway...another thing I need to learn!

Judy,
Don't buy anything! The Doc's to go you have are not a free trial. Give me a better idea of what you are trying to do..

Well, first of all I'd like to view the attachment...and I'd like to receive the e-mail that comes in html.
What do YOU do with doc's to go?

Judy,
When you have Doc's to go loaded it will convert and open attachments to emails. With Palm OS the number one email question I get is opening attachments which the free Doc's to go will do for you.
Again not a standard answer if your sever isn't playing with your Smartphone's email. Verizon has it's own email program on your 700p so not sure if this advice works.
