360 Tour

I have a potential client who wants to have his home shown using 360 tour. I assume that he is referring to the use of a video camera. If anybody has used it, I would appreciate hearing about their experiences. Also, do you know any videotographer in the St. Louis area?

Ron,
If you really want to WOW the client, try checking out this information about Wellcome Mat. You might even find a videographer there.

try http://visualtours.com Easy to set up and use. The agent takes the pictures. You can do 360 degree shots of every room or street scenes. Would probably be a lot cheaper that a photographer, but then again I don't know what price home your talking about. Maybe a professional photographer would be money well spent.
Good luck, and let us know what you decide on.
Ronald:
Well, you can do a 360, but there really is a better way. Video is now so easy and cheap...and much better. Here are the steps I'd take:
1. Get a Flip Mino digital camera ($151 on Amazon; info at FlipVideo.com. So easy to use, w/zoom, microphone, etc. It has really opened up video posting for agents!
2. Have the sellers lead you on a tour of their home, while you follow taking the video w/your Flip Mino. Remember: pan slowly!
3. Using the Flip Mino's built in USB port, plug it into your computer. It downloads its software onto your computer.
4. Open the software. You can stitch various short videos you took into one video of your seller's home.
5. After you've got your video, look for the "Upload" button: click on it, your other choices appear, and with one click you can upload it to YouTube, your site, another site.
So simple, so easy....and it beats the heck out of 360 views. Simply put, video is where it's at. I've got a couple of articles on it and the Flip on my blog here.
Have fun....and make money with your videos...many, many uses for them!
It's a great day here on the lake in Reston..hope it's a great day whever you are, too!
