I need to email a PowerPoint presentation & do not subscribe to or have a zip file. Any ideas how to email this, as the file is huge. Are there any free programs out there?

Carol,

I use a service at YouSendIt.com. A free account will let you send a file up to 100MG in size. And, it's an FTP transfer, not email, so it works faster and you don't have the problem of limitations set on email accounts.

When you upload the file, you send an email to the recipient automatically through YouSendIt. That email contains a link to a page where your recipient can download the file.

There are probably other services like this one online, too. Makes sending large files simple!

You can use http://www.sendspace.com/ to upload large files to, which then creates a link that you can send. It will be a unique url that the recipient will click on and it downloads safely for them.

You are limiited to how many times you can use this free service in a specific timeframe.

Carol,

You can send any PowerPoint Presentation using the "Pack and Go" feature of the program. The person you send it to can download a free PowerPoint Viewer from the Microsoft website. Sharon
