I probably can't even answer my own question quite yet, because I'll have to think back several years. With the advent of rottentomatoes.com and other reliable sources, it's actually been quite a while since I've gone to see a really bad movie(although some of the chick flicks my wife has dragged me to would almost qualify).

So I'll have to think about it for a while and come back with an answer.

Anyway, what's the worst movie you've ever paid to see, and why was it so bad? And, no I won't refund your money....

This is easy, because it just happened a little over a month ago. It was Be Kind, Rewind (with Jack Black and Mos Def). Two guys working in a video store mistakenly erase all of the video tapes, then decide to re-record their own versions of the movies. Sounds funny, right? With Jack Black and Mos Def you can't possibly strike out, right? WRONG. Dead WRONG. Everything about it was an absolute disaster. We ended up leaving halfway through it, and we only stayed that long because it took half of the movie to even get to the part where they start re-recording the movies.

Jack Black lost BIG points with me on this one.

I went and saw Will Ferrell in Semi-pro a few weeks back....TERRIBLE! I ended up sleeping through the entire second half of the movie.

The trailers played out every funny part. Lame.

I've only walked out of one movie. She's So Lovely. Did not make it past the first 15 minutes. Blaring music, drug addiction and domestic violence is all I remeber.

Of course I movie hopped to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery!

American Psycho...

It was a crowded theatre... so that could have been the problem... but when that dude stomped on a dog until it was dead... I couldn't handle it anymore. It wasn't making sense up to that point, and the level of violence (especially toward a poor defensless animal) was just uncalled for.

The worst movie that I ever saw was one that was highly recommended to me not only by AFI"s list but also by an old friend who was a movie fanatic.

Needless to say it was the biggest waste of my time. The movie noone should ever see is Citizen Kane

Fortunately, I didn't spend any money on it, but last night I watched a little bit of Little Nicky starring Adam Sandler while flipping the channels. I'd now like to petition to get the wasted 15 minutes of my life back. I'm surprised I watched it that long, but I was waiting for something funny to happen - never did.

I concur..that movie is one of the WORST. Adam Sandler did no one proud with that flick.
