Jan and Michael's relations is just a little off.

Jan and Michael's relationship is just a little awkward. Michael is a pompous self absorbed ignorant but good hearted boss and I don't quite see him with Jan. When he plays the submissive husband it strikes me as a little off. Also Jan is better as a in control power hungry executive. Her character having a mid life crisis who is in a relationship with a total nutcase is not quite right.
