So did everyone catch the office last night? I love Michaels new bed! Dwight is freaking hilarious! I enjoyed the show like always & laughed but didn't quite receive the ab laughter workout I was hoping for.

It was just like they never left ;) Yeah... I think this one was one of the more uncomfortable ones, but still funny.

The scene at the end with Angela and Andy was my favorite part of the entire episode. The look on her face as she smashed the ice cream against the car was classic! OMG I'm going to have to watch that again.

Michael's bed was hilarious!! You are right about it not being as funny as expected...I think that the balance between comedy and discomfort was off... it needed more funny.
I kinda think for the first episode since the strike they should have started back in the office instead of an off-site location. Nevertheless, I did like the episode....Michael's plasma TV was hilarious, and I love when he put the neon sign on the wall and all hell broke loose.

I was a little disappointed. I thought the choice of having the show outside of the office was good and it started really well. When Michael goes to hug Angela and she says 'No No' was very funny. And the game of charades where everyone is talking was hilarious. It was perfect how Angela didn't know any of the easy pop culture questions.
But when Dwight showed up it got a little silly. The smashing of the tv and the yelling and the beer sign was just way over the top. I would have thoroughly enjoyed just a uncomfortable dinner party with the four characters. There was no need for the police to show up.
Oh and I would have preferred Angela to have just scooped a few bites of her ice cream out the window. Smashing it against the car was too much. And I would have been okay with Michael just having one vasectomy.

I was having that same thought as I watched last night. It was nice to see a change of location, but I missed seeing some of the other key characters.

I loved the scene where Jan tries to get Jim to dance and he just gives her his hand, stays put, and stares at the camera.
And when Jim tried to ditch Pam there and she put her foot down... "You can't buy a new party!"

I disagree. At the most anal retentive Angela would have thrown the ice cream away. She would not have smashed it against the car.

Pam's response was good but Jim would have never done that in the first place.
Jan's awful cd that she kept playing was pretty funny.
