I was watching a movie last night with Rainn Wilson (the actor who plays Dwight) and I couldn't take it seriously. All I saw and heard was Dwight every time he was in the scene. He's definitely typecasted.

The movie was "The Last Mimzy"

He was on Six Feet Under for a season or so before The Office came out... His character on there was totally weird in a similar but totally not funny sort of way. It was hard for me at first to take him seriously as Dwight at first... I didn't think comedy was right for him... but now yeah, I am sure it'll be difficult for him to be taken seriously as anything other than an akward funny guy. He has become Dwight :)
