Most Overrated Song of All Time

Melissa and I were just having a discussion about this... another addition to this discussion would be any song ever written or performed by Green Day. Yep, that about covers it.

I'm no big fan of the Police either(at least I was tired of them in the 80's when they were played constantly), but I will have to mention 3 more very good songs they had in addition to Roxanne - Murder By Numbers, Message In a Bottle, and Walking on The Moon.

But some of their(and Sting's) other songs made my ears bleed. I'm sure they had some good lesser known songs as well, I just never liked them enough to buy any of their albums. Overall, I think The Police and U2 had/have immense talent - they just fell victim to the mass media's 'mainstreaming effect'. We could probably all say that about a wide variety of bands.

My favoritest dj "DJ Ian Parker" has an amazing club remix of "Message in a Bottle" by The Police. You'll have to check it out sometime.

Maybe DJ Parker (an others) can post music to a public folder..
