I completely agree.... a lot of their stuff is covers anyway... which aren't nearly as good as the original versions.

AND I know she's not a band, but Mariah Carey drives me nuts. To me she's a whack job (see: her "Cribs" where she gets in the tub, but won't let cameras in her room...?), right along with Whitney Houston. It's like the better the singer you are (or think you are), the more outrageous you seem to me.

THOUGH, I have to admit to owning a CD from each...I'm fueling the fire. I'm ashamed.

I second that. Once Mariah got divorced from Tommy Motola she went whacko! I did just so happen to catch the MTV Cribs with her & she was out of it! She tries way too hard to be sexy & she ends up making a fool of herself.

I do have to say that I am hoping that Whitney will be able to make a comeback now that she has ditched mr It's my perogative Bobby Brown.

OMG Guns n Roses is great.  Aerosmith's later stuff, yuck.  Led Zeppelin is so, so but "Stairway to Heaven" is great.  Mariah Carey is overrated and so is John Mayer.  White Stripes has one good song.  Beatles are overrated, but they do have some songs that stand out.  I am a Stones fan.  Can you tell?  :)  I think I am also showing my age.
