Skip Battin

on 7/6/03, Skip passed away from complications of Alzheimers disease. He was a musical genius. He played bass guitar, guitar, piano and sang. He wrote a ton of songs, was a member of SKIP & FLIP, tbe BYRDS, EVERGREENBLUESSHOES,
the NEW RIDERS of the PURPLE SAGE.and the FLYING BURRITO BROS. as well as a steller solo career. had many great songs for NRPS, in particular. He slipped right into the band after DAVE TORBERT left to form KINGFISH.(see next post on rip dave torbert) and to SKIP we say; RIP bro- be seein' ya Rick B
