The fed came to the rescue some say the other day by lowering the prime rate. I have to think why they had to wait so long to lower the rate? They are privy to more information than we are regarding the sub prime bomb, the sliding real estate values, etc...

Here on good old Cape Cod, we don't have to wait for the calvary to show up with a fed cut. Although it does help to reduce mortgage rates, the house values on Cape Cod have come down to a realistic level.
