About the Webinar: No Blogger Left Behind

Apr. 25, 2008

NOTE:  I subscribe and watch/listen to Webinars in several different places on the web.  I have to say that a Webinar done well is fun, interactive, and just plain helpful.  Check some of them out.  I have to say that most of the free ones are less intersting, not as well rehersed and sometimes even boring.  Webinars normally provide exactly what you pay for.  It is worth your time to include some of these in your training.  Having said that....

Well, I have to say that todays webinar, "No Blogger Left Behind" was a little disappointing for me.  I do blog, however, I am not a pro at it.  I was hoping for more insight on "how to" do more with my RealTown Blog such as add pictures of my local area and manipulate the boxes more efficiently.   I wish Frances had not had such a hard time because of technological issues.  I guess that is what you would call it as it took the first 35 minutes of the hour just to get the phones set right and for her to sign in with a new account.  I know it is such a hard job to put something like this togather.  I can only guess at the head aches of getting everything to run smoothly and work correctly when you need it to.  I am looking forward to receiving the emails and tips of the things we never got to during the webinar that were promised today during the session.  I am amazed at the abilities one has when it comes to adding pictures and other items to the blog pages.  I know it is just as cutomizable as the webpages are, but knowing which button to push to get to each item I want to add would help immensely.  Of course, that is what I was hoping to come away with today.  Tips and tricks for the pro-blogger.  LOL  I am still waiting.  I am just beginning to realize how important blogging has become over the past two years.  Amazing, that something so simple can add so much traffic to your website.  Get busy... blog away.  It is the portal to the future.
