Soap BoxNet: tech stuff

Nov. 1, 2007

Today I attended a workshop on all the tech stuff available and I think there is plenty more out there! There are so many things available for Realtors that someone who is just starting out and "working for free" needs to choose wisely how they will spend their money. I have tried to attend anything that is free or low cost. I also like this blog, it's free. Then there is the mailings, sometimes designing and sending your own can be cost affective but there are programs that are worth while. Elliot Caplan did our workshop and it was very informative. I am including a link to his website so you can view all of the links he introduced us too. Rookies should look at what's available, then decide how best to use the resources. Laptops are very helpful as well as a smart phone and digital camera to start with then if your company has a website with a page for you maybe you can forget that for right now. It might be better to take advantage of Constant Contact for your online communication and a snail mail program that will do mass mailings. Well, good luck.
