Well, it never ceases to amaze me just how far the real estate industry will use - and abuse - technology to lose customers. Consider this week's announcement by the Southern California MLS system to remove days on market from customer reports:

Without a doubt, this year's NAR convention in Las Vegas was the absolute best convention in the last decade. The energy and enthusiasm of the brokers, agents, trainers and association leadership everywhere was refreshing. I am confident that with more than 30,000 in attendance - now returning to all corners of the globe - the real estate market is about to be energized for a fantastic 2008.

Given my recent posting on the horrendous state of listing photos online, here's an idea that tackles the problem from the other end. While it's true that listings with no photos get no clicks; those with bad photos chase buyers to other listings. But listings with good photos and TERRIBLE descriptions do just as much damage to consumer interest levels.
