Green Valley Arizona!  Everyone loves a PARADE!  Here comes the Country Fair White Elephant Parade!  

Over 100 entries will be marching south on La Canada Drive this Saturday morning in the 44th Annual Country Fair White Elephant Parade.  NOTE: expect significant traffic delays and detours during the parade!  Sections of La Canada will be closed from 8AM - NOON for set up & spectator seating.

Marching bands, colorful community floats, clowns, fancy & fun vehicles make up just some of the entries.  Others include: Santa Cruz Valley car Nuts, Red Hatters, Sherriff's Mounted Posse, US Border Patrol, Green Valley Fire District.  Sabbar Shriners a regular participant is sure to bring a full complement of musical bands, motorcycles, miniture cars and camel parade.

The parade is part of the three-day celebration of community and the White Elephant's mission of supporting local charities.

The White Elephant is a local re-sale shop staffed almost entirely by volunteers who pick up donations of household goods, clothing and just about anything that can be re-sold.  Items are processed, cleaned, organzied and marketed at the White Elephant store in Green Valley.  Shoppers from all over Southern Arizona visit the re-sale store seeking treasures and value priced goods.  The White Elephant is open M-Sat 9-NOON.

Annually The White Elephant donates over one-million dollars to local charities and organizations.

Other activities that are part of this weekends Country Fair celebration include entertainment, Arts & Crafts, food booths & sidewalk sales at both the Green Valley Mall and Continental Shopping Plaza.
