Welcome to my Best of the El Dorado Hills weblog! The Hills I refer to here are the foothills east of the Sacramento Valley. My inspiration for this blog came as a result of my Real Estate profession where touring homes and knowing the inventory are some of the best parts of my job. Though my predominant intention here is to tell you about the homes for sale that have wow’d me, I also want to include what I consider to be among “other bests” of living in this wonderful area. The prices shown on each blog is as of the date written. I'll try and update them when time allows. Spring Meadow Road, Cameron Park, CA - This beautiful country estate sold back in July 2006 for just under $3 Million and today, sadly, it has gone back to the bank but the potential for it are huge. The home, built in 1991, is in the gated neighborhood of Cameron Estates where it sits on approximately 5 oak studded acres with its own private gate. Along with the 7297 square foot main house there is also a guest house, pool, spa, pool house, a lighted tennis court, 4 car garage, and RV parking with hookups. The inside is very dated and would need to be completely redone. The grounds have been neglected and need some work. All in all though this is a great find and could once again be the magnificent place it was not so long ago. It is currently listed at $1,489,937.
