Dalewood Drive, El Dorado Hills, CA - I know most of the times, the homes that really impress me are the million dollar homes but this one is a great semi-custom home in a price range that is really moving in today's market. Situated behind the gates of one of my favorite Serrano villages on just under a quarter of an acre, it was built in 1998, has 3 bedrooms plus a den, 2.5 bathrooms, and just over 2400 square feet. As you can see by the pictures, it has great curb appeal and is equally appealing inside with many upgraded features including real hardwood floors, plantation shutters, granite counters, and crown molding. Apr. 5, 2009 - Best Deal in Cameron Park Vicinity for April 5, 2009*
Woodleigh Lane, Cameron Park, CA - The lowest price per square foot ,non bank owned or short sale, home in the Cameron Park Vicinity this month is only $134.61 per square foot. It was built in 1988 on the .488 acre lot with 5 bedrooms, 4 bath rooms, and approximately 4435 square feet. You may be able to tell from the front picture of the home that it has local views to the back, but you'll also find a pool, granite kitchen counters, a theater, a weight room, and 2 laundry areas. The home has slate floors on the first story and and hardwood floors on the second story. This is a lot of house for a great price. It is currently listed at $597,000. *Sold 6/26/09.
To give you perspective on this price, our Lyon Trendgraphix show that 7 non-bank owned homes sold in February with an average square foot price of $169. Looking at bank owned homes, there were 5 sales with an average square foot price of $155.

Apr. 3, 2009 - Best Deal for El Dorado Hills April 3, 2009*
Dunnewood Drive, El Dorado Hills, CA - In case you didn't see the category heading for my "Best Deals", I have decided not to include bank owned properties in addition to the short sales, and fixer uppers. This month's best deal is priced to sell at only $145.53 per square foot or $459,000. It was built in 2003 on approximately .21 acres in the Stonebriar neighborhood (south of Highway 50, off White Rock Rd.). It has 4 bedrooms (one on the first floor) and 3 baths in it's 3198 square feet. In addition you'll find a 3 car garage and RV access. This home has been beautifully upgraded with natural stone and shows extremely well. *Sold 6/16/2009.
To give you perspective on this great price, our Lyon Trendgraphix statistics for February show 12 non-bank owned homes sold for an average square foot price of $184. Looking at bank owned statistics - 14 sold for an average square foot price of $154.

Welcome to my Best of the El Dorado Hills weblog! The Hills I refer to here are the foothills east of the Sacramento Valley. My inspiration for this blog came as a result of my Real Estate profession where touring homes and knowing the inventory are some of the best parts of my job.
