Folsom Lake at Dusk -In this region of rolling hills we are fortunate to have beautiful views of not only the Valley, but also Folsom Lake, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and a number of local golf courses and community lakes. Lowest Price Home Sold
This home on Encina Drive was our lowest selling home at $170,000. (Not our lowest price per square foot home sold though as it's selling price was $147.57 per square foot.) It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1152 square feet and was built in 1963 on .59 acres. It was a bank owned (REO) property and sold for 89.5% list to sale price.
Highest Price Home Sold
This fabulous Serrano custom on Greyson Creek Drive was our highest price home sold at $1,500,000. It has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, approximately 6365 square feet. It was built in 2006 on just over a half acre. The MLS description boasted formal and informal living areas, a chef's kitchen, wine room, exercise room, bonus and media rooms, a veranda with fireplace, outdoor kitchen, pool, putting green, bocci ball court. It had it all!

Via Fiori, El Dorado Hills, CA - Contrary to what you might hear, things are always busy in the real estate world, no matter the market. Though we may not be closing as many deals, most of us are having to work twice as hard for the deals we do close especially this El Dorado Hills Realtor! Touring homes is something I am a huge believer in, however, and I haven't gotten a chance to write about them but I am seeing many incredible homes coming on our market all the time. This incredible Mediterranean view home in the Villa Doro neighborhood that I saw on last week's Realtor tour is just one of them and ..... Wowwww! I can't say enough about it but here are some highlights:

8th Annual Grape Escape Event in El Dorado Hills
It's almost time for the 8th Annual Grape Escape Event in El Dorado Hills presented by theEl Dorado Chapter Women's Council of Realtors! It is a fun evening featuring wine tasting from Amador and El Dorado County wineries, hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants, a silent auction, music, and dancing! For those of you who prefer beer - we have a couple breweries there as well.
This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our El Dorado Women's Council chapter. It not only supports our WCR chapter but a portion also goes to a local charity organization. This year a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Assistance League of Sierra Foothills which is composed of Philanthropic programs to help those less fortunate. One of their key programs is Operation School Bell - providing new clothes to children in need.
