Pacific Northwest Events Calendar Updated 10/12/2007!
Summer has come to an end; and with the changing of the season, we close another chapter of outdoor events that have come
to define summers in the Pacific Northwest.
Nonetheless, when one door closes, another opens and with that, we are given an opportunity to enjoy the vast array of
Autumn activities that are also unique to our region.

There are literally hundreds of events on the calendar. Some of the most recent additions focus on the Renton neighborhood
centers.
Ages 6 and up. Come and check out the fun at North Highlands Neighborhood Center and Highlands Neighborhood Center. Many
exciting recreational programs are offered the whole year through! Children are encouraged to take advantage of the
various drop-in activities available free of charge. Children are allowed to come and go. Child care is not provided.

Ages 6 and up. Membership to Club Highlands or Club North Highlands is free to kids. The membership card provides staff
with contact information, allows members access to free drop-in activities, and helps to promote ownership in the
neighborhood center. Ask staff for a registration form.

Tuesday - Arena Sports - 4:00 - 5:00 PM
Wednesday - Teen Basketball - 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Looking for a facility to hold a smaller meeting or function? Highlands and North Highlands Neighborhood Centers and
Kennydale Park, Kiwanis Park, Philip Arnold Park, Teasdale Park, and Tiffany Park recreation buildings are available for
rent on an hourly basis.
Meeting Rooms:
During Operating Hours - $20 Renton Resident / $25 Non-Renton Resident
During Non Operating Hours - $35 Renton Resident / $40 Non-Renton Resident
Gymnasium:
During Operating Hours - $20 Renton Resident / $25 Non-Resident
During Non Operating Hours - $35 Renton Resident / $40 Non-Renton Resident
Park Building (3 Hour Minimum) $20 Renton Resident / $25 Non Renton Resident
