Prepare to slowdown for paving work on SR 202 in Redmond starting May 27

Starting Tuesday, May 27 crews will place the final layer of asphalt on SR 202 during the day as they enter the home stretch to complete widening work as part of the SR 202 –SR 520 Sahalee Way project in Redmond.

Crews will need to shift traffic and reduce the roadway to a single lane in each direction between 187th Avenue NE and Sahalee Way to complete this paving work. WSDOT anticipates this work to last through June 13. However, the work is weather dependent. If it rains or temperatures are too cold, WSDOT will need to reschedule the work.

If you travel through this area plan for delays and take alternate routes. Also learn more about the planned closures and check conditions on our traffic cameras before you hit the highways.
