Free From Unforgiveness: Part 3

Start from the beginning of this series:  Free From Unforgiveness: Part 1

Questions 8-15 (15 total) From Teri Werner's "Trainwreck to Triumph" course on Success University (Free Trail Link)

#8

Do you have people in your life, that you see the traits of unforgiveness?

How is this hurting their lives? Are they mirroring traits you have?

#9

What do you get from not forgiving?

#10

What is unforgiveness costing you?

#11

Are you ready to Forgive? If yes, name their names. And write out the following:

I forgive________________________________________________for:

#12

If you are having a problem with forgiving someone/situation, and feel you just cannot do it right now. Write down how you feel about this. Write down a prayer to ask for help to forgive this person, ask for God to forgive them through you.

Now is the time to be brutally honest . In extreme situations of pain, forgiveness may be a process. Write it down. Ask for help. In faith and obedience, speak forgiveness over that person or situation.

Repeat the following out loud: I speak forgiveness over

________________________________________________, as an act of obedience. Although it causes me pain to say it, I now speak forgiveness over ____________________________________________, as an act of freeing myself from the bondage my unforgiveness has caused me.

Repeat this over and over, every day. One day you will notice that as you pray and speak, it has become the truth. You actually have forgiven them!

#13

I forgive myself for:

#14

I release those I have not forgiven from the judgments and oaths I have made about them, against them, or because of my unforgiveness towards them.

#15

I release myself from judgments or oaths that I have made against myself. (speak this out loud)
