March 17 - Proverbs Chapter 17
FOR THE REST OF THE DAILY POSTS IN THIS SERIES GOTO: March 16 - Proverbs Chapter 16
PROVERBS - CHAPTER 17:14
"Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out."
MY THOUGHTS: Do you know people who like to start a fight (quarrel)? Perhaps you do that with your spouse or they do that to you? I stay far from this now. I had one person that really got me going in the past. That same person likes to try to get me going now, but I stay away.
This is another reason why I suggest the study of proverbs. Simple scriptures like this can cause you to think about outcomes of certain actions and knowing that the outcomes are not good with the DAILY scripture reminders you can overcome many obstacles and avoid many pitfalls. I encourage you to get into the WORD OF GOD DAILY!

1. RE: Proverbs - Chapter 17 (Active Rain BLOG)
Not that it is any of my business but Call me Confused in Columbus...why is Active Rain in the title of the post? At first I thought the post was going to be about blogging on ActiveRain... if you were referring to quarreling in the "Rain." Or is it because it is cross posted to ActiveRain?
I wondered when I saw it on RealTown on my way to post to my RealTown blog and then when I got a Google alert for the term Active Rain I wondered again. Then I went to see if you were an Active Rain member and if you had posted it to both.
