REMEMBER - You MUST be a member of the Southern California Chapter of CRS on or before January 31, 2012 in order to be included in the directory.
All members will be included for FREE - you will have your CRS contact information posted along with a photo (you MUST send the Chapter a 2 x 2.5" photo via email in jpg format labeled ONLY by your 7-digit CRS number; if there is no photo provided the printer will place a CRS logo instead).
The city where your office is located will be listed FOR FREE. But you may include your name in other cities for $10 per listing (no limit).
You also have the option to pay for a DISPLAY ad at $250 for 1/4 page and $400 for a 1/2 page (vertical or horizontal).

ANNOUNCING A NEW MARKETING BENEFIT FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CRS MEMBERS IN 2012!!
We are creating MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY for our Chapter in 2012. This will be DIFFERENT from the Directory provided by National CRS, in 2 important ways:
Our Directory will only list Southern California Chapter members as of JANUARY 31, 2012
We will distribute the Directory throughout our Southern California region to broaden your exposure to potential referrals from agents, and business from buyers and sellers
The Directory will be distributed to Southern California real estate boards so your name and contact information will potentially be in front of thousands of Non-Chapter agents throughout Southern California who may have referral business for you.
And of course the directory will be in front of all the other Chapter members in our region who might want to refer to you!!
More importantly, we will also get the Directory in front of the buying and selling public by distributing it to Chambers of Commerce, businesses, corporations and other organizations throughout our region. In particular we want the Directory in front of Human Resources staff at various corporations because they are the people who work with employees who are relocating into, out of, and around our region and may need a REALTOR to help them buy and/or sell.
This marketing effort is another free benefit of Chapter membership in 2012 ($50 per year), along with the other networking and marketing opportunitiesafforded members at our CRS classes and member meetings.
For those of you who are NOT Chapter members, this is a terrific marketing benefit at a cost of only your 1-year membership of $50.
We are offering additional optional marketing opportunities in the Directory as well:
A list of all the cities in our region where Chapter Members have their offices where other agents and consumers can seek out CRS in a particular city. That listing will be FREE and everyone will be listed - you don't need to do anything to be in this listed, simply be a Chapter member.
You can also have your name listed in all the other cities you service at a cost of just $10 per city. Listing yourself in 10 cities, including the one where your office is (per the CRS database) would cost you only $90.
You can also choose to place a ¼ or ½ page Display Ad to further market your services. Those ads will be $250 and $400 respectively and can be same as the one in the National Directory or you might choose to create something different

REQUIREMENTS:
1. You MUST be a member of the Chapter and pay your dues in full ($50) to either National or our Chapter ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 31, 2012. A Chapter Member application can be downloaded from our website, or pay your Chapter dues on the same form when you pay National dues.
2. Provide an UPDATED photo in a separate file to SoCal CRS via email (info@SoCalCRS.com). The photo needs to be 2”x2.5” and in jpg format. Each photo needs to be named with your 7-digit CRS membership number only (e.g., file name = 123456.jpg); no other words or symbols are allowed in the photo’s file name. For those Agents that don’t supply a photo, the printer will place a CRS logo in that spot. They will NOT be downloaded from the database.
3. Verify that the information that CRS has in their database is ACCURATE (Your name, designations, brokerage name, address, your phone [cell, office] and fax numbers, and your email address) since that information will be use to populate the Directory. The city where you office is will be used for the free city listing.
4. Provide a list of additional cities where you wish your name to be listed ($10 per listing)
5. If you choose, include a high resolution black and white PDF copy of either a ½ page (preferably horizontal) or ¼ page ad. The ad MUST be submitted electronically as a PDF and labeled ONLY with your FIRST and LAST NAME. You must create this ad yourself.
WE WILL SEND AN EMAIL TO CHAPTER MEMBERS AND ALL NATIONAL CRSs WHO ARE NOT CHAPTER MEMBERS THAT WILL OUTLINE MORE DETAILS ABOUT WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO PARTICIPATE AND INCLUDE A FORM TO FILL OUT FOR ADDING CITIES IN YOUR SERVICE AREA AND FOR SUBMITTING YOUR DISPLAY AD.
The Southern California Chapter of CRS was awarded the CRS CHAPTER OF THE YEAR award for 2011, representing the large CRS Chapters throughout the US (those with 351 or more members, a total of 20).
This honor was awarded at the National CRS Annual Meetings in Anaheim, CA at the Inaugural Banquet on Saturday November 12, 2011.
The Idaho Chapter won the small Chapter award, and the Sierra Nevada Chapter won the medium Chapter award.
