Hi Cherie,

Someone needs to lock this fellow up and throw away the key :(
We'd best pray for his soul not to burn in hell I suppose.

I truly want to throw up now - pardon my vernacular. This guy is NOT COOL... not sure he is even human. There really are people who suffer and he has the gall to make fun and use MY NAME with it. WOW! such a PIG!

I'm sure I'm not the only one that figured out that MJ was talking about a toddler (perhaps a grandson) that came to visit for a family dinner with his mother.

But Mark was able to insult at least five people in his allegorical post, including two who haven't even been part of this thread/

You must not have children. I knew by the end of the first paragraph that the young man in question was probably 6 to 18 months old and that Mark was having us on, as the Brits say. The dead giveaway was " as soon as he hit the carpet" I do hope Mark would not offer an Old Fashioned to a baby but he needed that line to remind we parents of all the "stuff" you carry with you when you leave home with a baby. Ah the joys of walking and post potty training.

Yes there are people who suffer, however, this young man was a baby being a baby. I think the point was lighten up. The older generation has been criticizing the behavior of the younger generation since Adam left Eden.

Mark Jay comments:

Fred WASN'T the only one who "got it" but he wasn't the one or two I was aiming at… although I see in today's digest they DID finally figure it out… but I still don't think they got the underlying message of my "homily"… so I elaborate elsewhere….

I was able to insult FIVE people in one post? If true, that's GOT to be some sort of record, don't you think? Here's the problem… YOU, Fred, don't get to take umbrage at someone ELSE being insulted because YOU can't be sure that what I wrote insulted them. You can only be offended when YOU are insulted. But stick around and join in the conversation… say something I disagree with and I'm sure I could shoot you a "sharp elbow"… ;-) And then you COULD be offended or feel insulted… or you could do what I and a whole lot of other people do and that's just laugh and move on….

Its times like this when I miss the OLD FORMAT where we could see who was responding. It was so much easier to just read the interesting and informative dialogs and not have to wade thru a bunch of petty garbage.

I, too, have been less inclined to partake in this List because of its boring and selfish content of late.

Mark Jay comments:

The OLD FORMAT is gone… gone forever. The new format MONETIZES Real Talk and the other Real Town discussion venues and that HAD to happen. You would do the same thing yourself. RT and ePRO T and the rest has to be a tremendous amount of work… that is 'time is money' and you know the rest.

I'm for interesting and informative too… subscribe to the digest instead of the individual e-mails and the with the digest just grab the scroll bar on the right of your screen and zip by what you're not interested in… it's fast and easy! And remember, your petty garbage might be somebody else's way to practice their writing skills….

Just IGNORE what YOU think is boring and selfish and MAKE YOUR OWN CONTENT. If it's compelling you'll draw a crowd and build a favorable on-line persona. If not you'll have people demanding an apology… ;-)

Don't complain! Ignore the negative and chart your OWN course. Drown OUT the boring and selfish with your OWN content.
