Patti, if you are opening a Professsional or Premium account with
Point2, call Point2 technical support for assistance with your domain:
866-977-1777. Hours of operation are 8:30am to 5:00pm MDT.

Also, on an unrelated note, the CMA page on the JudyWotenTeam.com site
lists "Toronto" in both the content header and body text. This needs to
be replaced with Lynchburg.

I suspect that the team site is getting a lot of traffic through
Point2's listing syndication. Both that site and your new site could
benefit from some SEO work to help them increase organic search engine
traffic. You can probably pick up a lot of do-it-yourself SEO tips from
the Point2Agent member message board in the search engine optimization
section, plus members have recommended books such as "SEO for Dummies".
You could, of course, invest in professional SEO help, but there's lots
you can do on your own; it's not rocket science.

Hi, my web site is pattipierucci.com ... I have been getting NO
traffic since I launched it, but recently I created a web site for
my team (judywotenteam.com) through Point2, and I am getting good
traffic. I registered the judywotenteam.com name with Internet
Crusade, and create lots of third-level pointers.

So... I would like to transfer my web site registration. On whois
the status says "clienttransferprohibited." What do I do next? I not
only want to take ownership of the name, I want to re-create the web
site as a point2 web site so I can syndicate listings, etc. Also, I
am concerned about losing my permanent e-mail address
(patti@pattipierucci.com <mailto:patti@pattipierucci.com>).

Any advice on how to initiate this process?

Much would depend on who the registrar is... and who owns the domain name...
where did you register the name? And who is listed in the REGISTRANT field?

Have a great day!

Editor's Note
Patti, according to the Whois records for the domain pattipierucci.com, you are the legal registrant. As such, you, and not your web provider, can effect a transfer of web and e-mail hosting. You can even change registrars. Contact the registrar Enom to have them remove the "lock" -- they'll need to give you what is called the 'auth code' if you decide to transfer to a new registrar.John
