Thanks for the thread Dan :)

Thanksgiving has been my favorite holiday for the last 12 years or since I met Ken <husband>.  No matter what the challenge, personal or business, I give thanks every day.  Please send a few thoughts my mom's way as we are hoping she can get a pass from the hospital to come home for the day.

I too am grateful to RT and the 3 amigos for providing this wonderful forum where we can learn, exchange ideas and grow.  Thanks to all my RT buds.  Have a wonderfully blessed Holiday.

Regards,

Laurie

Thanks Dan... this was a great post.

We are fortunate that we will always have things to be Thankful for.. even in the most trying times... This year as we go around the table saying what we are Thankful for I am sure it will be different than in years past.

I too am Thankful for RT... Since the life of a REALTOR can be very isolated considering most of us  work out of our homes its hard to find a place to have open and honest dialogue.  I read every post and look forward to seeing all the responses.. and respond when I feel strongly about a subject one way or another.  Thanks to Saul and the amigoes from me as well.

The history of Thanksgiving has long been forgotten I am afraid... but it would be a good table discussion at Thanksgiving dinner.  Considering my family is seeing it necessary to cut back this year for Christmas it would be good to emphasize  the true meaning of the Holidays now more than at any time  in our life.  And I would imagine that if I started a conversation at the table with my grandkids about the history of Thanksgiving they would find it very interesting.

Gloria

Aloha,

Thank you for the reminder! I have been so immersed in trying to drum up business, I didn't want to even think about the holidays. Reading the recent posts brought me back down to earth. The holidays is a wonderful time, we need to take this time to reflect and enjoy our family, friends and all the simple things that we do have.

Hi all,
The time may not be as good as it was a couple of years ago, but there is always good reasons thank God every day, enjoy this special day with your family and friends, and thank God for what you have.

Here is quote from the prophet Habakkuk:

17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

Habakkak 3:17-19 NIV

Happy Thanks Giving Day.

Oh yes!

Thank you, Dan. Thank you, Saul & John and the other Amigo! Thank you, Angel for the quote from "That Beautiful Book."

Most of all, Thank God!  For all His goodness, for my family, my clients, my friends, for everyone!

May God bless us with Peace and Joy as we gather together to give Him Thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving Season everyone.

Allie
