I, too, am very close to taking my final exam. I agree that the
information in this course is critical information for any agent intending
to remain in the industry, whether new to the business, or established for
many years. I have been in the business (licensed) since 1992. It is a
constantly changing business, and no matter what your experience or client
base, in my opinion, if you are not actively prospecting online, you are way
behind the curve already. I know many agents that continue to be resistant
to the value of online marketing, and I now encourage them to take the e-PRO
course. The information is presented well, and if not rushed , can be
absorbed and retained, and practically applied.
I have taken it upon myself to develop my own web site, using WYSIWYG
technology, and maintaining control of my own content. It seems daunting at
first, but it does not take special expertise to learn. If you can complete
the e-PRO course, you can learn to take control of your web site and its
content, without having to rely on a template company who generalizes most
information, without being able to focus on your specific market. Don't get
me wrong, the template companies have value in generating your web presence,
but I think many agents get sold a product they don't know what to do with,
and end up relying on them too much. I believe a web site needs to be
interacted with by the agent on a daily basis, just like voice mail and
email.
I have been able to now generate up to 5 new leads per week, packing
the pipeline for future business in tough market. That is up to 20
prospects per month that I would never have contact with, without the online
portion of my marketing efforts.
I'm sold on e-PRO.
