Doing BPOs
 
I've been in the business for nearly 15 years and I just started doing BPOs since late February 2007.  To date I've completed close to 400 BPOs. Yes I can get them done in 1.5 to 2.5 hours not including drive time. For an interior it may take me an extra 45 minutes and that includes about six to ten interior photos. With all due respect they are good.  I put out a good product and I'm an A rated broker with the companies I do them for.  I have three or four companies that I do most of my BPOs for.  If it takes 6-8 hours to do them in my opinion that's too long and not worth the effort.  I stand my assertion that my product is excellent and it takes me on average no more than two hours (if it weren't, I wouldn't being getting some many requests). Bear in mind I'm in Los Angeles and I have to deal with LA traffic as well.  Another point with regards to due dates/time.  Around 95% of my BPOs are in on time with and pass through QA/QC without revisions or corrections. Occassionally, things come up and I will need extra time.  In that case I contact the rep and I have never had them say no to a time extension. The bottom line is I would have to respectfully disagree with the opinion that a BPO turned out iin 2 hours 'must not be very good'.
