Drip Postcard Campaign Methods or Software

There are lots of good vendors that can do farm postcard campaigns with mailing services where you sent the same postcard to all the clients. But I'm trying to develop different drip postcard campaigns for each client. Expireds, fsbos, and buyers pool are the three campaigns I'm working on developing. Obiviously each required a different set of postcards.

When hot buyers, and/or listings are first in my sights, my the drip postcard campaigns fall apart. I need a method or piece of software to automate the campaigns. I took a look at sendoutcards.com and saw things I liked, and wouldn't have a problem spending 70 cents a postcard mailed once my campaigns where proven. But as I dial in my campaigns(I've had some failures), I still need to automate them. I print about half my postcards on my inkjet(hp L7850 with a continous ink supply system) and sent out half them to a printer with a high end laser copier.  My inside costs are about a dime a card, and my outside printing costs are about 20 cents a card.

The I bring the cards inside and put on labels and stamps myself. I make up a sheet of labels for each client, then sent out the appropriate postcard depending on the position of the label on the sheet. Top label goes on first card second label goes on second card etc... Each sheet of labels for the client represents the one type of drip campaign

I use Outlook for my client database, and Word to print my labels. I downloaded and tried to use the Avery label wizard, but was unsuccessful. It seemed to have a zillion steps to make a sheet of labels, more that using Word. The problem with using Word is that if I have a eight label campaign. I throw out a lot of empty labels on a 8.5 by 11 sheet.

Brant,

You have some good ideas—I was doing this as well myself, and then found www.quantummail.com they have a few different programs—for example, when I’ve just sold a property, I can set up automatic mailers to them quarterly for the next 3 years or 2 years (my choice). I also set up another drip campaign to leads I’ve gotten that are “looking but not ready yet”…you only need to have 20 for your list (great for those of us starting out!), and I found when I figured out my costs for printing, mailing, ink cartridges, labels (including waste), it was cheaper to use this website. I didn’t factor in the cost of my time it has now saved me, though—time better spent taking care of my clients I’m working with “today.”

I also started using it for my monthly mail-outs to my farm areas as well. One thing I’ve found is that we all have to learn what works for us. I’m surprised that many agents I talk to don’t do mail-outs at all—yet those that are “getting somewhere” or are very successful do so regularly. Either way, we all have to find what works best for us.

Good luck!

Hi Valerie,

Thank you for your response. Quantummail.com looks good for Just Listed, Just Sold, Brought a Buyer to 123 Main Street, and buyers pool campaigns since the campaigns have over 20 names on the each campaign list. However I add Expireds and FSBOs to the their list from 1 to not more than 10 at a time. I could use sendoutcards.com for this when my campaigns are dialed in, but my Expired and FSBO campaigns are still under development. I am currently experiencing failures with them(poor response). I need a method or piece of software to make the development of drip postcard campaigns easier on me, before I turn them over to quantummail.com or senoutcards.com.

Thank you again,

Brant

I know this is an old thread, but I just ran across it while doing some research. TPMCO.com has the exact thing you were looking for. Automated, inexpensive, no minimums, no commitments:
