Ready to trade in that Treo 600 or 650 for a new high speed phone?  For those of you who are Sprint customers and are at least midway through your contract I may have your ticket.

Here's the scoop. I'm an long time Treo user (Treo 90, 300, 650 and now 700P) and I had the 650.  I wanted highspeed access on the EVDO network.  I was approaching the end of my contract with Sprint.  I called Sprint retentions at 877-766-7697 and told them I was considering switching to Verizon to get the Treo 700p. They gave me the your a great loyal Sprint customer and said:

I told them what I needed to stay.  Well to make a long story short, I get:
The Treo 700p (with 2yr plan) for $250 after rebate.
Keep my old Sprint Phone number
$130.00 PCS Free & Clear Plan 2000 Anytime Minutes
Minutes Are Shared On This Plan (wife's free line)
All Minutes Include Long Distance
Unlimited Night and Weekend Minutes
Nights: M-Th 9PM-7AM Wknd: F 9PM-M 7AM ($5)
Unlimited Data
Unlimited text messages
Unlimited roaming (no charge)
Caller ID, Call Waiting, Three-way Calling, Voicemail, etc.

I also got the Ovation U720 USB modem card for the laptop (free)
Unlimited Data on the modem card (included in the $130 above)

Just bargain with them.  They'll take care of you.

RE:  Spring deal

Thanks for the info.  GREAT DEAL!  I too am a long time Sprint customer and had a miserable time with them when I bought my 700P last fall.  Just curious, how long of a contract did you sign up for?  And, were you on a month-to-month status or in the middle of a contract?

Thanks!

Ramona

With all the add ons and upgrades I was required to sign a new  year agreement.  In our area the service is great especially the EVDO Revision 1.  Sprint has simply the best speeds and price points for data in the country.  enjoy
