I've just taken my first listing for a genuine historic home in Wake Forest, NC.

I just sold a historic home--it was definitely more challenging that I thought it would be--it was completely redone inside, but had original hardwoods, ceilings, fireplaces. You just have to get creative about reaching the historic home lovers--we had a Christmas Tour of Homes and one of the homes on the tour was next door to my listing, so it held it open all weekend during the tour and ended up selling it to someone that saw it that weekend

Congratulations, Charlie!!

Many on RT have listed and sold historic homes before, but I never have, always wanted to, would be such fun to promote..... and I am envious, but happy for you at same time....

Feel free to brag, and share, background & photos, links to listing, etc...

You will always remember this one...... later in life there are many transactions you can barely remember, but ones like this will always be special...

I thought I replied to this once before but maybe I had a "senior moment".  I know of no one that specializes in historic properties in NJ. Sorry I can't be of more help.
