I am looking for some feedback about how you all typically respond to leads when you only have their email address. Obviously you send them an email right away. The goal, of course is to get them to respond to your email by phone or another email. Does anyone use any standard form or have any tips about what should be included in the message? Does anyone have any great tips or suggestions on accomplishing that goal?

Don't know if this is what you are asking for, but it depends upon where the lead is routed to me from ie: off of the company's website asking for generic information, off of my website asking about a specific listing, off of one of the communities I am a part of, etc. I have some basic generic email pre-written that I customize based upon the lead source. I am happy to share what I have if you are interested. Good luck!

Reply to leads- I try to reply as soon as possible. Questions they may have are answered. If they don't have specific listings they want to search I often give them my web address, office and cell #. If I don't hear from them I will email again in a day or two. Good Luck, Betty
A great way to respond to internet leads when you only have an email address is with Toolkit CMA. I email a Buyer's Presentation and Toolkit CMA lets me know if it was rejected or the date and time it was read. Pretty cool!

One thing I do when I get a lead is to go to remax.com and register my lead to get a drip email campaign. When the buyer/seller goes online and wants information the request is always sent to me. I also put other buyers/sellers on the client list just in case they should go looking for information.

I would also be interested to learn more about "tool kit" and how I can get more information out of potential clients without seeming too aggressive - that really turned me off when I was looking for my 1st home. We went with a very passive agent that was professional but not "in our face"
Thanks for the helpful responses. I do try to email them as quickly as I get the lead. One thing that I also worry about is whether my emails go into their junk files automatically. Anyone have any suggestions regarding that?
I reply to emails asap. If I do not hear a response off the lead I will call them if their is a number otherwise email them again. I find it frustrating not knowing if they got the message or if it is in their junk mail.
