I seem to be having a problem with some of my clients who have AOL addresses. When I send notes with attachments, there  is no guaranty that the message will be delivered. They can receive messages without attachments just fine, but when I need to send contracts and other information they just don't make it. Does anyone have a suggestion on how this can be corrected?

One of the down sides of AOL is it will turn on the spam blocker when you're not looking.  It will send anything that has an attachment into spam  I hope this helps.  Sharon Broker /owner

In addition the size of the attachment may exceed the limits.

AOL has been my Internet provider since my introduction to the Internet.

I have not had a problem receiving attachments. The problem lies with having to download attachments before they can be viewed. I was suprised and envied those who could view an attachment without having to go through this annoying process.

It would be a great help to me to know if anyone who does use AOL as an ISP has been able to use their domain name for an email address? If so, I would appreciate knowing how to make this happen.

Thank you in advance.

A newbee to RealTown.

Christine

I've been using AOL for over a decade now...all you have to do is ask your client to add your email to their address book and your emails will be delivered just fine. I send myself attachments to my AOL email from other email addresses all the time...I use the AOL email as my online storage (like a virtual hard drive). No problems receiving large files like appraisals, contracts, title commitments, etc...

Thanks,
