This one is driving me nuts...............
I send an Adobe .pdf file to a client.
The client gets a win.dat file instead of .pdf
I've Googled the problem, followed the instructions to make sure my outlook program sends in html, not rich text & the win.dat keeps on happening.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

Hey Don,
This may be caused by the method that you are sending your email out to people. You more than likely are sending emails in Rich Text format.
In Outlook, go to: Tools>Options>Mail Format
You should see the type of format that you are using. One way to insure that the PDF file does not convert to win.dat is to use text format. You may also want to try HTML format since sending Text Format will eliminate any signature pictures or logos that you normally send with an email.
Good Luck!
