Has any one found better email software program or on line service. I'm currently using High Impact Email Professional 4.0 to send periodic bulk emails to my client base. I like that it allows me to mail merge and send through Outlook and Message Tag ( I can track activity). What I don't like-it no longer synchronizes with Outlook or allows me to schedule delivery. As a result, I need to manually add contacts and send emails during off periods.

Walt -

I don't have an answer to your question, however I just got done taking a look at "High Impact Email Professional 4.0" and love the program.  What ISP do you use for your outbound BULK messages as both my primary DSL Provider and my Exchange Hosting e-mail provide BOTH prohibit this type of mailing as it is against their Terms of Service.

I don't want to use a company like Contact Direct or a monthly service provider.  Any suggestions woupld be greatly prohibited.

Hi all!

This is my first post to this forum, thank goodness for e-mail Heaven!

To give a quick answer regarding the bulk email send out, most ISP's will not allow you to send more than 50 at a time, thus, you will need to use a service provider like Constant Contact.  You may want to check them out, they are really good, low cos (depends on how large your database is) and you won't have these issues anymore.

Additionally, they have a fantastic back end, where you can see what email is no longer in service and cull them from the list so you aren't paying $$ for someone who isn't there anymore.

You can see who opened your email, what they read, how long they stayed there and if they forwarded it to a friend.  It is also compliant as it is 'opt in' and there is a remove button.

NOW, for my problem du jour....  I HATE OUTLOOK!!!    It constantly freezes, shuts down (most often in the midst of an important email that you are almost done with) and many other nuisances.  I've tried ACT and Eudora, but they don't have the functionality that Outlook has with the calendar, reminders, etc.

I'm looking for something like Outlook, but one that WORKS....  ANY Idea's or suggestions are much appreciated!
