I just purchased a video Flip camera. I am curious about which software program or video program would work best to use video in place of visual tour. One that you can choose music and really make a nice presentation.Can anyone shed some light on this? it is a cool little camera, and I learned about it in a technical seminar at a convention.

I'm using MS MovieMaker for editing my Flip videos and www.MusicBakery.com for music.

MovieMaker should have come with your computer but, if not, it's a free from MS: LINK

MusicBakery sells royalty free music. You buy what you want and then you have license to use it for whatever. Great selection of music and very reasonably priced. There are also free soundtracks that come with MovieMaker.

I just had a class with Amy Chorew who uses the same camera and reccommends the same software/music. But then I consider Amy the top tech expert in our industry so I might be a bit biased. Come to think of it though, one can be biased and right at the same time. :-)

I also use Windows Movie Maker with my Flip Video.  It is very easy to use - zero learning curve.  I just order the segments the way I want them.  I usually add some titles, you can do some editing, add still photos, music, narration and save it to different formats.  I love this little camera - it is always with me.  Advice - get a tripod.  I keep telling myself that the shakiness is "quaint," but it is so much better when I use a tripod when panning.
