Susie,
I have not used the product you mentioned but I do have first-hand knowledge of a roof cell phone booster that is sold by Radio Shack. The brand is Wilson. The cost is somewhere around $800. It will boost a weak signal and give you great reception within a 100 yard radius around the antenna. I have an automobile version of the cell booster made by Wilson in my car and get reception in rural Arizona areas when there is no reception without it.

For years I have had very poor cell phone reception in my home. Out of three different providers, Verizon had the strongest signal but it was still very weak. A couple of months ago I purchased The Verizon Extender and it works great. The cost was around $240 and it was so simple. The Extender is a box about the size of my Comcast cable modem. I plugged it in to my router and within 30 minutes had an additional 3 bars. I am thinking of giving up my office in the Coldwell Banker building to be a mobile agent. I hope this information helps others. The other wireless phone companies may offer this product as well.
