I understand Point2Agent has a standard website for $9.95/month and have been thinking about purchasing. I would like to see a standard site someone is currently using. Anyone out there with the Point2Agent standard website let me know.

Thanks

Hi Jenny,

I went ahead and did some looking around for a few Point2 Agent Standard sites for you to look at and I have listed them below:

http://www.seacoasthomesforyou.com/

http://www.mrwilliamsburg.com/

http://www.janewhetstone.com/

There are a lot of amazing things you can do with the Standard site, and you can't beat the price of $9.95! Plus, the first 3 months are FREE so you can try Point2 Agent before you decide to buy. The Standard membership even comes with automatic Virtual Tours made for you, a place for you to insert your IDX Solution, as well as the ability to track prospects and create domain associated email addresses to name a few. To find out more on Point2 Agent or to start your free Standard account, you can go to http://FreeWebSite.RealTown.com . Have a great day!

Joe Webb Licensed Real Estate Broker

Dear Jenny,
I'm Joe Webb just down the road in the Atlanta metroplex. I have Brokerage licenses in Texas and Georgia. Last week on the advice of a friend and very successful broker, I took the point2agent plunge. THE BEST THING I EVER DID IN MY REAL ESTATE CAREER!

I being very careful with expenses, that's why I'm still in business, signed for the three month free program. They don't take your credit card info until 3 months are up. The first day I was able to design, in about 45 min, a better web-site than my professional webmaster had sold me.

I upgraded to professional with the understanding (their suggestion) that I could try the premium for a couple of weeks no charge, and pay monthly when my free time was up, or go back to my 9.95 DEAL for the remaining 3 months no charge.

I have had the pleasure of speaking to their reps and I will tell you, they are flawless, always congenial and knowledgeable and they don't rush you. Please give these fine people a try. In a time of hucksters and poor service they raise the bar and restore my faith in quality. I have no affiliation with point2 other than being a very very very satisfied client. Please check out my website www.myjoewebb.com

Thank you so much for the Point2Agent website examples. I signed up for the standard site with three months free. So far I have done most of the customizing and the site is looking really good. I think I am really going to like it.

Joe - After looking at the site I decided to take the plunge also. I purchased so many things and then decided it wasn't what I was looking for but with three months free I couldn't go wrong.

I'm interested to see how many agents use the required registration and how successful it has been.

__________

Jenny, your question is one that typically brings forth a lot of
conflicting opinions.

I've found that my clients in the U.S. who get the most valid leads from
their sites are the ones who 1) do not require registration, 2) have
great 3rd party MLS IDX listings iframed on their sites, 3) offer their
site visitors a wealth of search engine optimized text information about
their local market areas and 4) receive upwards of 50 unique visitors
per day to their sites.

An exception is some clients who happen to be in the same Canadian city,
where virtually all the real estate agent sites require log-in.

Here are a few of my Point2Agent custom designed client sites that meet
the criteria above and which generate a ton of solid leads:

http://www.BarbaraReevesRealtor.com
A few weeks ago, Barbara sold 5 houses to 5 web site leads within 5
days. She usually receives between 3 and 5 Perfect Home Finder forms per
day, with about 125-150 visitors per day.

http://www.WeSellBronxHomes.com
Jonathan usually receives 2 or more requests for showings per day.

http://www.JoeJanus.com
With around 100 -125 visitors per day, Joe gets a ton of great leads
from people looking for just the perfect home.

This fairly new site only gets around 40 visitors per day, but still
receives a remarkable number of Perfect Home Finder submissions per day
-- as many as 3 per day:
http://www.PrescottFineHomes.net

Though the traffic to this highly ranked site isn't real high, they've
sold more than a dozen homes to web site leads since mid-April:
http://www.KathySellsNassua.com

Note that all these sites contain lots of custom written text pages that
help inform site visitors while attracting the search engines -- an
important key to building traffic and leads from a Point2 site.

I have also been looking at the Point2 Agent website option. Do you have to enter each listing or can you import from your MLS. Can you attach documents associated to the listing? I just started the E-Pro class and there is so much to learn.

Editor's Note
Hi Astrid,It depends on the MLS. Point2 is working to get all MLSs to provide listing information. Iit is an MLS by MLS process. Go to http://FreeWebsite.RealTown.com for a 3 month free free trial. There is lots to learn, but no rush so work through the course and get a good understanding of the material. We started a new community on RealTown, Point2Talk. If you are interested in learning about Point2, and technologies in general, send an e-mail to Point2Talk@RealTown.com with the word join in the subject field or the body of the message. There is a world of information available and we are just beginning to fill the communitry with valuable information.Saul

Jenny,

I am very intersted in reviewing Point2Agent as well. Now that I've reveiwed alot of the post I am ready to do my due diligence. If you have a trial for 3 months it seems to be worth a try. I really would like great support and customer service.

So many times I have purchased services and after the sale the customer service has been quite poor.

Thanks

I think we have had our Point2 website for 3 or 4 years and it's hard to beat.

The only time I have an issue with service is if there is an outage during off hours, but that rarely happens. And I do mean rarely.

In that case I just email Saul and he gets it handled immediately. You won't find that kind of response anywhere else.

The customer service reps are friendly, responsive and intelligent too.

For example, I have set up external email accounts (like google apps gmail) for several people in our office. When I call in to get the technical details handled at Point2 (MX and CNAME records) they take care of it right away for me.

I'm staying with Point2.

Thanks Malcolm. I am proud of our customer support representatives at Point2. It is not me who takes care of issues, it is systems and people. I usually just forward on things the team is already aware of and working on. As at InternetCrusade, at P2 we work hard on providing to the industry what many companies lack, quick response and customer service. There can be many causes of technology problems, and many "hands in the pie," but our approach is not whose issue is it...our approach is "get it fixed." We are not perfect, but we work hard for you. We believe it is our differentiator. For those who have not yet experienced the Point2 difference, go to http://FreeWebsite.RealTown.com and sign up for a FREE 3 month trial.
