I have tried numerous times to edit my profile/info and add this. It does
not happen. Nor does it save my husband's name. It only says I am married. I
HAVE seen some where it says under their pic "married to XXXX" I can't add
his name because Facebook can't find him (he would not do Facebook if his
life depended on it) And I am wondering if that is the reason my company's
name does not show up. It is unique to Western CO and does not have a
presence on Facebook, either.

Oh well. Now-how do I get rid of posts I don't want displayed (for any
reason) without blocking/hiding the person?

What happens if I do block someone? Can they see any posts on my site? Is my
site blank when they try to log on? What do they see?

Yours to Count On!

Juanita,

In order for your husband's name to show up, he would have to have an active account also. Without an account to link to it will just say "married" "engaged" "in a relationship" or "single." (my husband won't sign up either).

Likeiwse - in order for your company name to show up on the main page of your profile you must join your company "network'. My broker recently set up a network for our office. In order to get one started Facebook make the company admin jump through many hoops to prove it is a valid group.

I have set up a couple of outside pages for my buisness. You can't have two profiles, but you can set up multiple "fan pages" for separate topics. For instance, I have my basic personal page then I also have a "Nashville Event's Calendar" page, as well as a Nashville Foreclosure Update" page and a "Nashville Condos & Lofts" page. I haven't done much with them yet as far as adding friends but I need to get more good content on them first.
