This is my first attempt at working with WordPress. I'd appreciate any tips/recommendations you all might have. Also, what PlugIns might be a good fit for this site? I must say - I like the price!

Thanks Mark - I'd actually grown a brain and looked at the page code to discover that. I really like that theme - very clean and crisp!

Stephanie, nicely done, who did your graphics?

I use plugins like WP-Print, Google XML Sitemaps, Google Analyticator, and All in One SEO Pack.

Hope that helps!

Stephanie... I can't speak re tech merit... but just as a "looker", your site looks wonderful. I read all the main blogs on the front, but didn't click on links to read the older ones. Your blogs were also wonderful. You may consider that as high praise.... since I've read a ka-jillion real estate articles & musings, I am supremely jaded; heard it all before. But your blogs had some nice fresh meat....

Keep in mind, I don't know beans about SEO or code or black hat crap, I leave that to our other experts.... but as for overall appeal, captivating subject matter, graceful writing style, ease, etc., you've done very, very, well.

Oddly, at first, I didn't care for your slogan, Nestle/Nestling in Nashville, I thought that could have been improved upon.... but you know what? 3 days later, and I still remember it.... if I had a a Nashville relo, I would immediately think of that slogan... so hey, mission accomplished.

Now if you do things properly, you will eventually rank for whatever organic Google search terms you like: example:

http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&q=social+media+website+design&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

Notice that Advanced Access for al their size and power, must pay for every click, although they were huge years before I came on the scene, and that there are over 40,000,000 tech-savy comptitors They sell SEO, but I would not buy that from them LOL

Take a good look at 1 and 2 organic reselts: I am socialmediasystems.com:

http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1R2GGLL_en&q=social+media+website+design&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

This is what a properly optimized and regularly posted to blog can do.

Do it yourself, or we will set it all up, syndicate the feed, write about you and create overnight rankings and link authority, for as little as $199.

Good job, I will link up the graphics in the middle that say Real Estate Blog, Newsletter Signup and Search MLS, I feel like I want to click on them.

Some great widgets can be found on www.widgetbox.com. I would suggest going with the low monthly cost on widgets so that you don't have "Get Widgetbox" going to other agents. Download the mortgage calculator and it's very easy to use your plugins in the back of the Word Press to make this run.

Very nice!
