"Turning Your Home Dreams into Reality"
Chris,
Why not use a WordPress blog, or a Realtown blog? Easy to use, free.
Chris:
Most Realtors in the area I want to reach do not use those blogs. Our board CVAR has more than 5,000 members and most of them do not even have a website or their own email. They have not heard of RealTown.
Each member of CVAR has to provide an email address and I am going to use that address to reach them.

Ronny, it doesn't matter that agents in your area don't "use" WordPress blogs. You stated you wanted to setup a website "to reach the Realtors" in your area, The WordPress blog that Chris recommended WOULD BE that Web site. You can upload and display photos an information on the blog site just as you would the Web site templates you asked about.

Mark:
It is still not clear to me about WorldPress blog.
I have high lighted your wording: The WordPress blog that Chris recommended WOULD BE that Web site.
But I want to use my own domain www.LetPicturesTalk.com . How does that fits in The WorldPress blog?
Are they going to host my site, or do I get some pages under the name of WorldPress blog to reach other Realtors with my photography? Do they provide me with simple software to create a website?
What is the difference between method from WorldPress blog and website providers?
Can you explain that to me?
Regards,

Ronny, in a nutshell, Wordpress is a blog system, a piece of web content
management software that runs on any web hosting service that supports
it. You can have either your own Wordpress site on any server that
supports it or you can also subscribe to a Wordpress blog at Wordpress.com.
At some Web hosting companies such as GoDaddy, you can simply install
Wordpress with by checking it in your Web host's control panel and it
will be installed for you. You can then point your own domain to it. I
don't know whether free blogs at Wordpress.com will allow you to use
your own domain; I've never looked into it.
Lots of different templates are available so that you can change the
look, or you can have someone create a custom template for you. Google
"wordpress photography" to turn up some themes that might work for you.
I don't do design or installation work on Wordpress sites, but I can
refer you to a Wordpress expert if you need help.

Hope that helps!

Your getting confused by the terms "blog" and "website". A blog IS essentially a Web site. It just runs with a 'blogging software' that controls the features and provides an administration panel for controlling/updating much like a template web site. The major feature of a blog is that is was a 'log' capability allowing you to update is as a journal but you don't have to use or focus on that feature if you don't want to. But it is in essence a Web site. Check out these examples of these Websites (oops WordPress blogs :-) :

Susan,
Thank you for your explanation.
I think I know what to do and stick to a website that is not a blog.

Thank you Mark for the explanation.
I think I know what to do and stay with the old style web.

Ronny,
You really should look into using a blogging platform - blogger by Google is another viable option. One of the reasons is that your potential client base, if I understood you, will likely be more in-tune with blogging platforms versus a web site platform.
Heck, my experience is showing me that blogging is bringing me more money and gaining me more traffic than my web sites. I am starting a 30-day experiement whereby I will put some of my blog posts onto my web site first, give them a day or two there, and then re-post to my blog, to see what effect that has on my site rankings / traffic and my blog rankings / traffic.
