Hi All

Contemplating a Vehicle trip that might include the Memphis, TN area.

Could one of the Memphis area agents recommend some "Must See" attractions
in the Memphis area?

Thanks.

I'm not a Memphis agent but I went to school there at Memphis State University which has a new name now.

I love jazz so I would put a visit to Beale Street at the top of my list. Some OK restaurants down there too.

If you're an old rock and roller and/or an Elvis fan a trip to Graceland would be a "must see".

A quick, free thing to do would be stop by the Peabody Hotel downtown and watch the ducks march out to their private fountain in the lobby. Always a big crowd in the morning and afternoon when the ducks make their way from their rooftop penthouse, down their private elevator, and walk out a red carpet to the fountain and jump in.

If you're feeling lucky, Tunica Mississippi is just south of Memphis and has riverboat gambling, shows, and enough buffets to provide food for your whole trip.

And of course no trip to Memphis is complete without dinner (or lunch on Fri & Sat) at the Rendezvous. Legendary BBQ ribs!

There is just so much to see in Memphis. Here are some places to visits, just to name a few:
Beale Street, Gibson Guitar Factory, Peabody Hotel (the ducks are a must), Graceland and the accompanying other related sites. Sun Studio (if you are short on time, take the Sun Studio tour that last only and hour but is very good). Taking a Back Beat Tour is also and excellent attraction.
Three is the Belz Museum, Center for Southern Folklore, Children's Museum, Cotton Museum, St. Jude Alsac Pavilion, Dixon Gallery and Gardens, Levitt Shell at Overton Park, Lichterman Nature Center, Memphis Botanic Gardens, Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Memphis Pink Palace Museum, a ride on a Memphis Riverboat, Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum, The Memphis Zoo is a good stop for sure.
The Mississippi River Museum on Mud Island, National Civil Rights Museum, National Ornamental Metal Museum, the Sharpe Planetarium , Soulsville USA, Stax Museum, Victorian Village Historic District, W C Handy Home and Museum and the W C Handy Performing Arts Park.
There are at least 3 times as many more sites you could visit here in Memphis. And of course is you are a Justin Timberlake fan you could play a round of golf on the new golf course he purchased and had redesigned. And you might even end up being an extra in one of the various movies that is being filmed here most of the time
