Tsk tsk tsk. Chris. You didn't read the post???? This started as a peril for those who VENT on Facebook. The dangers of doing so. The posts directed to Lindy and Yoyo were in response to posts about deleting individual posts or the disappearance of individual posts. Not "DANGER ON FACEBOOK" stuff. Nor was it about being fearful, but rather wise about what we post. Not new in and of itself. I gave an example of someone who vented on FB and I got the post. I am in a position to cause this person real harm, if I wanted to-not to mention the fact that her boss had been invited BY ME to participate as my friend. The "peril" was what we can do to ourselves. Had I been of a mind to-I could get her fired for her post-understand?

Me thinks, the PERIL HERE is jumping into a thread without tracing back the start or thoroughly reading the dialolgue.

Nonetheless, I enjoy your contributions as always.

Yours to Count On!

Okay, pass the Franks, coz the crow tastes pretty crappy without it.

Quoting the posts would really help, as I followed a bit of the thread, but not the entire thing as it got too woo woo

Of course, now I can't quote the bit of the causor of this reponse that I wanted to quote.

Don't know where this started, but I have posted on my FB, www.facebook.com/realestatewebdesigns about someone who venomously states that they have launced a campaign to smear my business.

Numerous threats to "let the world know". I don't bow down to threats, but also have learned some lessons along the way with posting and threads on the internet. I will come back to bite the negative person, in a global way.

It's bad juice to slander someone through the social networks. You may gain some traction, but if an employer sees that you take it to the internet, you could lose more than you bargained for. Also, the people who jump on your angry wagon, will further expose uncontrolled tempers online.

I have seen so many bullies on these forums. And people who visit them frequently, intelligent people even, that will slam you down the minute they disagree with you, or have nothing better to do that vomit up distasteful words.

What goes around always comes around. If someone is slamming you, take the high road and be calm. Assess the situation, and see if you need to hire an attorney.

I'm curious, why/how do the responses show up as separate posts?
