Cherie,

Please have the client who cannot access their Virtual Office contact me. I do not know of any issues regarding Virtual Office access for "over a year".

Please feel free to clarify here or via email at abourland@advancedaccess.com

Regarding your other message about us "selling" your designs as ours. We most certainly do not engage in passing off other Virtual Assistant work as our own. In fact, we often assure clients that we will work with VA's, if they hire one, should they need any assistance. We advise all clients that their sites are completely customizable, to the extent of creating a custom design (whether on their own or using a VA) and bypassing our templates. Our 4.0 platform is no less customizable; you can contact me if you need assistance. We have made the 4.0 sites even easier to customize with the "Blank Template" option. Perhaps there are different ways you can implement your designs. CSS, JavaScript and HTML are handled appropriately in the 4.0 editor, so I am not sure which issues you are running into.

If a site you have worked on is used as a sample, we are not claiming that work as our own. We use the samples to show what is possible with our sites, as most templated websites are not as customizable as Advanced Access sites. We are the host provider and designer (tools, software, etc) of those sites. You must certainly agree that the graphic design of a website is only one facet of the entire package that we sell. We sell more than the "website", but all the convenient tools that are created specifically for real estate professionals. As such, we have the right to display some of our favorite client sites as examples. Aside from all of this, you display your "design by Cherie Young" link at the bottom of all sites you work on. This, as you said, is one of the ways you get business. I would imagine that you would appreciate all the extra attention to your work (again, as we point out to every client that the graphic design was done by a VA) because it brings you business.

Yes, we have had plenty of discussions; some where we have agreed to disagree regarding the conduct as a VA we were recommending to our clients. For a long time, we prouly featured you on our VA directory at http://www.advancedaccess.com/va/. Unfortunately, after several chats, we reached a point where I could no longer have you on this list. I respect your point of view, and believe you do wonderful design work for clients of all website companies in the industry. If you would like to open discussions regarding this list, feel free to contact me. Perhaps enough time has passed that we can each reconsider our positions on the specific issues we discussed.

To all others: I am more than happy to help with any questions you have. You can also feel free to review our announcement about the new data center that was a labor of love over the past couple of weeks at http://www.advancedaccess.com/blog/
