You are right. It couldn't possibly be that we see right through Obama for the Charlatan he is, could it? IT couldn't possibly be that we simply do not agree with his policies-the ones we have been told about, anyway. I find him scary. I can say that without hating the man. I can say something is a sin without judging the sinner. Jesus called things the way they were re. people, and pulled no punches, but he loved them all. Loving does not mean condoning what is clearly evil/wrong.

To say something is a sin or evil, definitely crosses other's desire to do whatever they want and not ever be held accountable. So they have to find Christians or conservatives at fault.

OReilly pointed out in one of his broadcasts how the "left" said they hoped Tony Snow and another well known would just die. These men were ill. However, when Ted Kennedy was diagnosed with brain cancer, the "right" expressed sorrow to hear it and said they would pray for him. Who are the hateful fanatics here?

Obama may be a pawn in the much bigger game, but believe me-there IS a much bigger game going on here in this election. The man is flat out evasive and flip flops on issues.

Americans will wake up too late, if this man is elected.

God Bless You! Unfortunately it would take a cataclysmic event for the Democrat nominee to lose the presidential election. It would have mattered little whether it was Obama, Clinton, or Mickey Mouse. Similarly, it would not have mattered if the Republican nominee was McCain, John Wayne (you get my point), Donald Duck, or anyone else. The public sentiment to the war in Iraq, the approximate 40% drop in the stock market during 2008, and the anti-bush sentiment repeatedly broadcast by the left-wing media (please excuse the redundancy) make the chance of a republican winning in Nov '08 nearly impossible. It would have taken the Perfect Storm of events to align in order to keep the incumbent party in power. Obama had several missteps (Jeremiah Wright, "spread the wealth" to Joe the Plumber, Michele stating "For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country", Obama's campaign financing pledge, "Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy"). These missteps will not matter.

Obama claims he is all for the little guy, wanting to stop foreclosures and keep people from being evicted from their homes, but he says it is OK to evict someone from their first home. It is a nice sound bite when campaigning, but look at what he says when he is not focusing on his scripted talking points. "I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby". This is so sad to here this come from the future speaker for our country. Liberty and Justice for all, except those without a voice. This sad perspective towards life will not matter.

Unfortunately, these are not enough to overcome the war, the economy, and the anti-bush sentiment. McCain is not Bush, but he is republican, and a republican is the incumbent. I am not happy with this outcome. I was not happy with the way the Republicans legislated when they had a small majority in both the House and Senate for the first time in approximately 50 years. Newt Gingrich was the Speaker of the House and implemented his "Contract with America" in 1995. This was great, and congress' fiscal discipline during this time, along with the dot-com bubble, brought tremendous revenues that far out-paced spending. President Clinton gets the credit, but we all know that Congress, not the President makes the laws that incite growth or shrinkage of the economy, Congress makes the budget, and Congress approves expenditures. Nevertheless, Gingrich made some political and social mistakes that cost him his job. Dennis Hastert failed to conservatively lead the House, and I say he was more influenced by Tom DeLay than by conservative principles. The republicans had their shot; they did well under Gingrich. They failed miserably under Hastert. Hastert's successor, Nancy Pelosi. Out of the frying pan, and into the fire!

I waited until Monday night to submit this, as most Realtors will have already voted by the time this is posted. Obama is embedded and indebted to IL State Senator Emil Jones and The Combine. Those in the know with Chicago politics understand this very well. By the way, with Obama as President, Chicago will get the 2016 Olympics. I strongly believed our country will survive Obama's leadership. I'm more worried about the House and Senate having unchecked power to rule the roost. My worst fear is the likely change in the Supreme Court. Despite these disturbing expectations, America is still the best country in the world. We will overcome. It will just take time. God Bless America!

What is evil? Charlatan? I suppose that would be a fair statement if, say,
Obama had lived a certain philosophy his entire political career, and then
changed it up at the last minute in order to get elected... or if say, he
had been stating for years that he was against negative campaigning, and
then went right ahead with one of the most feverishly hostile campaigns in
recent history... but alas, Obama did none of these things... The opponent
did, however.
